The Globe Restaurant

Definitely will go back. It was a long time that we ate there but wanted to try after new management and chef. The service was fantastic - Brooke was lovely and attentive. All 3 mains were amazing. Coq au Vin was tender and flavourful. Steak was perfect with tasty sides like scalloped potatoes. Braised short ribs - 100% perfection. Caesar salad was very good!!! Creme brûlée was yes, amazing. But the star of the dessert had to be the berry bread pudding. We are all definitely going back soon. Pricing is on par with the level of expectations for the food but quite reasonable. $45 option had the caesar, coq au vin and creme brûlée!! Book a reservation ahead to guarantee a table.

We had a wonderful visit with our family and used the private room upstairs. What a phenomenal job renovating the space, it holds the charm while bringing updated change to the area that is very welcoming. We had the Grand Prix 45$ fixed plate and it was all delicious, no concerns at all with the meal. Very tasty cocktails. Even a very yummy (I’d eat it as an adult) kids meal of pasta and butter sauce, cream sauce or tomato sauce option. Scott was our server and he handled the chaos of a large group beautifully. Thank you for letting us reconnect in your beautiful restaurant. We will be back !

Four of us had dinner there Friday night. We all chose the Prix Fixe. Absolutely amazing food for all three courses. We will definitely return. The atmosphere was relaxed and servers were friendly but professional. I can't say enough good things about our experience.

Excellent experience! This was our first time visiting this lovely place. What a lovely evening spend with awesome friends. The staff were friendly and attentive.The food was fresh and very flavourful. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone looking for the most delicious meal. Nice spot in Rosemont. Service and food were good. Atmosphere was nice. A small mix up with the Rib-eye steaks did take away from the overall experience. Braised short ribs were good as well.

My husband and I went out for a date night here recently and we will definitely be returning soon! The servers were very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, (we LOVE the new look of the space especially the globes they have on display), the music was perfect for us. And the food was so delish! I ordered the kale salad and short ribs. My husband ordered the jerk crisitini and duck confit. The chef knows what he’s doing, that’s for sure. This spot will be our new go-to. Yum!

The Globe is back! Have not been since David and Beth ran the show. Had a ton of good meals there, pause a few years, and now Jason of Bistro 77 fame is in the kitchen and of course wonderful meals are being churned out. My son had a good romaine salad and great steak. I had this amazing spicy tomato and dill soup to start, and a white fish special, very tasty. We’ll be back as soon as possible. The service was great as well, and although I liked the old Globe feel they have done a nice job renovating the restaurant, brighter and a little more modern, but not taking history away from the building. Beautiful backyard too!

We had the pleasure of celebrating a small wedding at The Globe. Such a nice personal atmosphere ,staff so friendly, and efficient. Food was absolutely amazing.Beautiful presentation and everything delicious. The creme brulee, by far the best ever,ever ! Thank you for making our special day so pleasurable.
